GreenHydrogel was invented by University of Science, Vietnam National University, HaNoi.

Vision: The harm done by plastics is growing year by year that we and our future are facing their horrible consequences. Meanwhile the world annually generates more than 1.7 billion tons of agricultural residues that contain a large amount of biodegradable natural polymer, only a small amount of them is used for animal feed, composting and producing energy and heat, the remain part is discarded. We create GreenHydrogel based on fully natural polymers of agricultural residues. Therefore, GreenHydrogel will be a big opportunity to supplement and diversify friendly material sources. In the early stage, we prioritize developing GreenHydrogel for edible food packaging film and bio-platic production. Then, the project will broaden in other large market (bio-plastic, additives, diapers, disposable products). We foster the providing solutions and creating products according to customers' needs.

Mission: The Green Hydrogel views waste as a resource that can create new jobs and revenue with zero impact on our precious environment, creating more income for farmers, so will be supported by the government and social organizations.
